2/15/2014 A camouflaged explorer2/13/2014 Witch hour solutionThis is how I prep for dinner now. This way, I don't have to hear her crying around my feet when I'm busy cooking. Today, she enjoyed watching me cook and didn't complain a word. 2/10/2014 Looking forwardNina now flips herself inside stroller when we go out. She doesn't just want to be carried around backward in a carriage, but she wants to see the world as we do, looking forward. She also hates the reclined position, and tries to sit up inside the seat. I guess it's time to investigate a new stroller for her. 2/8/2014 A family portraitAs Ron started a new project, he spends most of his time outside. So we do this at least twice a day. It's actually a great tool to distruct her when she's getting fussy, too. 2/6/2014 A tiny explorerLately she's always on the go. She got bored of toys and the room she stays mainly. It has been cold outside, and our car had been repaired over a week. So we're getting stuck in a house. Nina, then take herself to the exploration of our dusty apartment. I've been sweeping/ vacuuming more than ever. Her favorite spot is where large mirrors are. She loves to stair at herself, touch, lick the other side, etc. Another spot she goes a lot is the bathroom. She must like the texture of tiles on the floor. It must be alot of exercising for her to be omit and about all day long. She now takes more naps, and sleep better at night. 2/6/2014 My lil yogurt facedNina now eats a variety of food. At today's breakfast, she had mashed avocado, mixed with yogurt, mango, and pear. It may not sound appetizing, but it was good. So far, her favorite appears to be Aunt Alyse's chicken soup, thickened with grain powder and sweet potato. It even tastes great for us, too. It's a great relief that she appears to love eating. Nothing is better than a home made meal, I guess. And it's quite an eye-opening to experiment different food combination, preparation, and to break the stereotypes we have of each product. 2/3/2014 She's not breakingThis is not to show her latest break dance movement, but to show how she learned to get down from standing position by putting her hands first. She's relatively careful about her life, so far. 2/2/2014 Thing about booksI noticed she's more interested in looking at texts than illustrations. Also, when I read to her, she rather watch me reading to her than looking at the picture of the book. Overall, she's currently too busy exercising her physical world to sit n read.. 2/2/2014 7 months 1 dayNina now eats O-shaped rice cracker. This is a great thing to keep her busy while I eat my own meal, or wash dishes. She enjoys chasing and picking up the small pieces. She still hasn't been able to pick them up by her thumb and index finger, yet. So she grubs a bunch and somehow get them in her mouths. And it's pretty amusing for us. |
