We spent our Memorial Day weekend in Connecticut with friends and families. Though our car broke down and so was Granma's toilet, and Ron lost his nice pair of sunglasses, nothing was major and we were still able to enjoy a nice holiday weekend. Most significantly, Nina started taking her first steps for the past few days! I'm curious how far she'll be walking by the next weekend!
My first mother's day as a mother was the most pleasant day. We went out for a dinner with Granma and Granpa, followed by a frozen yogurt dessert at a beach. Nina went into the water for the first time. Though the water was not that warm, Nina loved the experience, and she got soaked. We'll go back to the beach soon as soon as the weather allows. Oh, last but at least, THANK YOU MAMA for Nina's beautiful outfits always. Your hand-made hat and the raspberry dress goes together perfectly!
Boy, Nina was obsessed with Karaage and strawberry. She ate more than anybody. She was the true 花より団子 girl that day. I feel so lucky to have hanami twice this year.
Happy kids = Happy parents
Nina turned 10 months old, and she loves to play outside. Whenever she goes, she meets some friends who adores her. She enjoys her companies, as well. For now, she uses a walker to practice walking. Her balance is pretty good, she just doesn't know that she's ready for making a step by herself.
