6/27/2014 The summer has arrivedThe summer has arrived to NYC. Nina had a blast being around water splash at a local playground. It was a good thing that she can now walk and don't have to crawl around the wet concrete. She loves observing older kids play and their parents at benches, as well. She'll be one-year old next week. That's a major mile stone for me, as well. Exciting!!! 6/12/2014 Dim sum ThursdayNina had her first dim sum lunch today. She was fairly good for the entire time. I brought some avocado rolls and steamed yum potatoes for her. In addition, she tried shrimp shumai, kabocha, egg custard bun, roast pork bun, sesame balls, etc... She ate well. On both ways, she slept in a bus and subway while I nursed in a ergo baby carrier, topped with nursing apron. Yey! 6/10/2014 11 months 10 daysNina walks for longer stretches day by day. She would take a few steps, goes off balance, adjust a bit, then takes more steps. She seems to enjoy walking now. As for her eating, she started to be more picky and wouldn't eat as much as she used to. For now, she likes starches such as rice, bread, potatoes, pasta, and red fruits such as strawberry, water melon, and tomatoes. She hates being fed by spoon. Her temper is something she was born with. She would scream real loudly whenever she needs attention. She would cry if I leave without her. She's very active and still fights when I change her diaper. |
